Sika needed a web platform for its employees to manage customer promotions and discounts. The application acts as a connector between the existing ERP system and the sales team: ERP output becomes input for the web app, and web-app output feeds back into the ERP.

Manual approval of customer rebates is tedious, so the application was built to streamline it. Customer rebates for the upcoming year can be prepared and approved in alignment with current-year sales and a master list of discounts, via a five-step workflow.

• Import/Export section for uploading ERP-generated sales, customer, and discount master files
• Automatic detection of SLA-break cases, routed for approval to customer group heads
• Two-step sequential approval workflow with back-and-forth approval and rejection handling
• Real-time alerts on SLA and discount issues while updating customer records
• Customer records list showing the current update/approval status of each record

The result is a customer-rebates management platform that lets users work on their customer records and manage sales discounts for the upcoming year with full traceability and control.
