MoA, the Manual of Acupuncture, is an innovative learning platform redefining acupuncture training through interactive and immersive experiences. Our task was to reconstruct and reintroduce the MoA app, addressing the shortcomings of the existing application. The client sought a comprehensive overhaul that would improve the teaching of acupuncture techniques and pressure points and set new standards for excellence in the field. We achieved the following through the relaunch:

• Unified content management — a centralized cloud API ensures uniformity between the web and mobile applications, resolving distributed content patterns and data mismatches.
• Version control mechanism — a robust version-control mechanism ensures all features are consistently available across app versions, eliminating discrepancies.
• Integrated subscription workflow — subscriptions are simplified into one area, letting users subscribe via web or mobile and gain access across platforms for a synchronized experience.
• Cross-platform content integration — seamless distribution of user-generated content across platforms promotes consistency and accessibility across devices.
• Enhanced admin interface — a sophisticated admin panel replaces direct database management with a streamlined interface for easy content updates.
• Multilingual support — the application caters to a diverse user base with varied language preferences, making acupuncture education more inclusive and globally accessible.
