In 2015, PIT Solutions helped Floorballshop upgrade its old-fashioned Magento store into a modern webshop that works well on any device and encourages more sales. The original store wasn't mobile-friendly, making it difficult for customers to browse and reducing purchases. We improved the website by adding new features, optimizing it for phones and tablets, and offering it in both English and German, aiming to deliver a great experience on every device and build long-term customer loyalty.

• Deal of the Week – lets Floorballshop highlight a special, time-limited product, with full control over which items to feature based on popularity, season, or new arrivals, and flexible deal durations to create urgency.
• Stickfinder – helps customers find the perfect hockey stick using filters for look, gender, playing hand, height, brand, weight, and budget, through a simple, easy-to-use interface.
• Customer group management – segments customers by purchase history, details, or loyalty status, enabling targeted marketing and group-specific discounts, exclusive previews, and rewards.
• Streamlined inventory management – keeps stock levels updated on the store in real time as products arrive, are restocked, or otherwise change.
• Pickup from Store – lets customers who order online choose to collect their items at Floorballshop’s physical store.
• Vendor product integration – expands the catalogue with products from other vendors (shovels, grips, goalie equipment, shoes, bags, clothing, accessories, training/game equipment), fulfilled directly by the respective vendors.
• DHL shipping integration – gives customers real-time shipment tracking and lets Floorballshop generate shipping labels, calculate costs, and manage international shipping compliance for its worldwide shipping.

Moving from an old-fashioned HTML website to a modern, adaptable Magento-powered store, Floorballshop joined the digital revolution: useful features, more personalized experiences, and smoothly connected systems helped it build a loyal customer base and achieve strong growth in a competitive market. PIT Solutions continued improving the site and incorporating customer feedback to keep making it better.
