Enterprise PIM & DAM Platform

The project was about reconciling product data of a large client across three business units, technical attribute sets that differ per product family — 45 distinct attribute groups across more than 130 data models — and multilingual content for 16 markets spanning Europe, Asia and the Americas, alongside a digital asset library arriving through SFTP drops and file shares. Enrichment had no audit trail, data quality could not be measured, and every downstream channel — web shops, customer portals, printed catalogues, CRM and ERP — needed its own manual export.

PIT Solutions is proud to be a part of this digital transformation, delivering a single, governed source of truth for product information and digital assets on Pimcore version 11. We were involved in the process of solution architecture, data modelling, integration and implementation of a suite of custom Pimcore bundles: a multi-business-unit product model with group-specific attribute bricks, role-based enrichment and approval workflows, field-level change history and completeness scoring, an editor-driven output configurator for multichannel export, cloud-native asset management on AWS S3 with automated import and product mapping pipelines, Elasticsearch-powered search across the catalogue, and REST/GraphQL interfaces feeding e-commerce, CRM and ERP systems — all behind enterprise Single Sign-On.
